For writing we have been learning about rhyming ,verbs , adjective , and adverbs.

We wrote our poems about Autumn leaves.

I have met my basic facts goal today. I am now working towards my new goal stage 4 80%

In reading we have been learning about how motion forces and how objects move.  This week we were combining our learning about this and our reading about race cards and got to design our own race car and explain the different forces that are acting on it.

In Team Awa we have been  learning about the Kawa of Care.  Here is the work I have completed to help me remember and think about each of the 9 elements.

One thing I need to work on is making it more interesting by putting more stuff in.

Today I did my first book review.  This was a good experience for me as I had to share specific things about a book I had enjoyed reading, as well as read some to viewers.

I am working on making my leters the right size.

This week we have been working on some mahi for Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. Our theme was kai. If we finished we could do Nga Tae – colours. Here is my mahi.
